St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod. Founded in Linkville in 1894, St. Paul continues to be a place where sinners find refuge as the crucified and risen Jesus Himself comes to us in Baptism, the preached Word, and His very body and blood of Holy Communion for the forgiveness of sins. This is according to God’s Word which is eternal and unchanging, proclaimed by the prophets and the apostles, and revealed to us in the Bible. God’s Word and Sacraments are therefore the solid foundation upon which St. Paul is built and sustained.
St. Paul holds to the doctrine of the historic Christian faith as set forth in Scripture and confessed in the Book of Concord 1580, not bending to the shifting winds of current culture but rather boldly confesses: The Word of the Lord Endures Forever. For that Word delivers Christ Jesus who is the cornerstone of all our hope.
